Story - 8
The story revolves around a kid pianist Arima who is struggling both with his career and grief. But on a certain day he is introduced to a girl whose going to changes his life. The story contains alot of feels and i mean alot. almost every other episode contains a "feels" scene. But the thing that can ruin it for you is that the story can get rather predictable at times, especially when it comes to how the anime ends. The best thing about this anime is that it ACTUALLY ends whit out setting up for any sequels. And for some reason that is really hard to do these days.

It looks gorgeous, colorful and its easy on the eyes a treat to watch. The music scenes are especially beautiful, I haven't noticed any animation derps its solid all the way from the first to the last episode.

Sound - 10
Since this is a music anime the actual music has to be good right? And yes it's good, very good. if you like classical music you are going to love it and even if you're not a fan, like me, it's still amazing to listen to. They even are kind enough to give you the names of the numbers that are playing, very helpful heh.

Characters - 8

There's a bunch of them the four mains being: Arima, Kaori, Tsubaki and Watari, who does not get much development even though his a main, some of the others are Arimas' mother and teacher and Tsubakis' friend who also doesn't get much backstory or development. But those things aside when the sad scenes come you're going be feeling for them ALOT.

Overall
This is one anime you don't want to skip. One of the great ones this season, you wont regret watching it !
