Where do I go from here? I literally found myself trying to think about what to do after finishing this show.

It's one where after you're done, you just have to sit there and consider what you just watched. Usually, I say, well, that was a good show, onto the next. In this case, I don't know if I should watch anything right now, because I don't think I'll be able to enjoy it as much. For a first time reviewer, I'm not going into depth about each aspect, more vague, so you can enjoy it yourself. It's a show that I'd recommend going into it with the least you can know.

As for the STORY, I'd say it was something pretty interesting, it really did keep me interested, without gaps. There were times when I could not wait to find out about different aspects of the characters, or different pieces that I would put together. Put simply, the story was fun to follow along with, and intriguing, not often do you get a show about Terrorism that does it in such a bright way.

I can't say that the ART stood out way too much, it was definitely something I enjoyed, but it wasn't anything as outstanding as the rest of the show. In no way does it hold it back though. The art style was done quite well in certain scenes to bring out more emotion, which was beautifully done.

Now for the SOUND of the show. Yoko Kano's work here was amazing with pieces that could not have fit the scenes better in my opinion. I'm a simple man, with simple tastes, but not only were the intro, and ending songs spectacular, but in certain minimalistic parts of the show, where it's more focused on the emotions being brought out, the sound track only amplifies it... This is an OST I will most likely find myself listening to for a long while. This music is highly in my taste, so of course this could be more swayed towards my personal opinions, but in some parts of this show, I feel like the sound track stood out so highly.

Another great aspect I liked about the show was that the CHARACTERS were easy to follow in major aspects, but you still did have to do some piecing of the puzzle out. The majority of this, features 5 people who are very memorable in each of their aspects. There are some very obvious troupes that a certain character falls into, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but while in many aspects he feels like a cool or interesting character, you almost feel everything he is going to do coming. Either way, this is a strong point of the show as well, because each character's motives, and development are strongly etched into me after this show.

Moving to ENJOYMENT, I'd say this was a show I can't wait to give a few months, so I can get myself to watch it again. I may have literally just finished watching it, but I can't wait to watch it again. I want to relive those moments where the OST makes me fall in love. There are always shows you wish you could forget and watch all over again, because you know you'll never be able to experience what you have, and for me, this is one of them. I'm hoping the show has good re-watch-ability (which is totally a word).

Finally, I come to the end of my first review, calmed a bit, still trying to consider if I will be able to go back and watch more GTO... The impact this show left on me was enough to really leave an impact, and I may be a simple man with simple tastes, but I'm honestly glad I watched this show, and hope for more shows that can try and combine such a melancholic sound track, and beautiful story, with characters that are enjoyable.
