After episode 1 the fan service invades and doesn't want to leave (much like the zombies, see what i did there). It becomes annoying very quickly and acquires so much that the experience of the zombie survival is washed away only to return when all the boobs are covered in tight school clothes.
Boobs aside, the 2 main males are actual the strongest characters in the show, yes they have their perverted moments but they're rare enough that these guys remain bad ass especially Kouta Hirano.
Overall if you're gonna watch the show, watch it for the intense zombie fights situations and realism that they present to the gang
