There's a lot of controversy on this anime show you shall ignore. An example is that Guilty Crown is a Code Geass rip off. Firstly in my opinion thats not true, every anime show is purely unique and Guilty Crown is a pure example of that.

Story
The story line is set after the event of the acopalyspe called lost Christmas. Consequences from that event has cause tokyo to be a unstable nation that rely on help from others countries aswell as the country is run by an organisation called 'GHQ'. The main protagonist is a shy, depressed boy called Ouma Shu that contain a mystical rare power called the Void. Over the internet he discovered a Egoist singer called Inori, that create songs that are very familar with a rebel group called the Funeral Parlor that wants to takeover GHQ. One day after school he visits an abandoned film research(something like that) building, for his school work and surprisingly see's Inori singing Euterpe. After this event his life has completely changed. From then on he becomes a part of the Funeral Parlor and alot of conflict Sci-fi action will occur.

Art
The art is quite detailed and quite suits the anime. The art work on the posters, images does straight away tell you what type of anime this will be and defines the genres cleary. But generally is quite simular to many others shows.

Chracters
Chracter designs suit the story line somehow; Shu is a shy high school student with a sad past, Inori is a helpless 16 year old girl who is part of the Funeral Parlor, and doesn't ever talk. Gai leads the Funeral parlor and its a strong brave chracter.

Sound
The soundtrack of this anime show was created by a composer called Hiroyuki Sawano who's currently composing The Seven Deadly Sins and did create the soundtrack for Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill, Ao no Exorcist and Zombie Loan (There are more). This straight away shows that the soundtrack is good which it is. In fact its outstanding. It really suited the show and the insert songs were just brilliant. Bios was sang in german and really made the anime so enjoyable and si-fi ish. Hill of sorrow really did show that Shu is an awesome protagonist. Krone completly made the show so dramatic and sad aswell as Release my soul that ended me up in slight tears on the last episode. On the other hand theres Alpha that completely make you think of the anime completly differently and changes your opinion. Pie completly adds the action and makes is spell bounding! The opening and endings themes would completly make you fall in love with the anime like it did with me.

Enjoyment
They can be slight boring scenes in the anime, but those are the equilibrium and builds up to some action and sci-fi. When you watch the first episode, there should be no way that its boring, because is quite interesting and does suck you in to watching it.

Overall
This Anime show is a masterpiece. But everyone has their own opinions, people who are more In to conflict and goverment based anime would enjoy it more. But give is a chance the arcs are very interesting and enjoyable.
