Log Horizon is a fun and imaginative take on being trapped in an MMORPG. Log Horizon was able to keep a usually dramatic topic and keep the story upbeat and intriguing throughout. The series has strong characters, although there isn't a lot of character growth throughout the series. Besides the lack of character growth, there are also a few episodes where pacing felt a bit off. The story progressed very nicely despite the minor pacing issues, and the series showed an ample amount of the main and side characters. This focus gave the show a sense of "fullness" that I greatly enjoyed. I personally have not watched the Japanese dub, but I thought the English dub actors for their characters quite nicely. The art was nice to look at and it impressed me. Overall, I greatly enjoyed Log Horizon because of its story, characters, and overall tone.
