It had a lot of potential, the characters really seemed interesting but the 12 episodes really cutted the story, forcing the creators to simply forget about the interesting characters and end the series abruptly, leaving me to just think about how awesome this show could have been if it had more episodes. The main character is pretty bland, though he does have a somewhat interesting backstory he has little to no personality or motivation, the same for his love interest the "Angel", basically a Rei Ayanami clone for 11 episodes just to show a little of development in the last episode, which would be fine if they were given a more supportive role in the series, unfortunally they were given too much focus through the series small number of episodes and it felt flat. So much potential, I really hope someday they try to do this again but this time give it 25 episodes or more.
