This anime is great. Dont let people tell you otherwise because it is out right great.

The first thing you need to understand about this anime is that it is not a show, it is an experience. And as an experience it is best watched in one sitting. As you are watching School days you may find that the story is dragging on, but the last episode is what makes this show.

PLOT: It is going to be very hard to convey the plot to you without giving spoilers, but I will try my best.

First off this is NOT a love story, though it may appear like one, it is much more beautiful than that. It is the story that shows to us the true hidden nature, that we all will deny, of the male and female spirit. Guys being horny bastards why doesn't give shit about girls emotions, and girls being dormant psycho paths.

Makoto, our main character, who I will refer to as Unlucky Lucky Bastard, or ULB for short. The story starts off with ULB starting off a new school year and riding on the same train as another main character Kotonoha, who I will be calling Psycho #1. ULB has a crush on Psycho #1 so his friend Sekai, or Psycho-slut, sets them up on a date. After that it terrible turn in fate ULB gets busy quickly unleashing the psychotic powers hidden within each of these girls by breaking their hearts.

Honestly its really hard to explain this plot seriously because its just a typical heartbreak/love story, until episode 12 that is. You wont like this anime if you don't like love stories. I felt that it did drag on near the middle but I encourage you to power through because it is worth it in the end.

CHARACTERS:
Unlucky Lucky Bastard is probably one of the most hated characters in anime history. I can understand why. He is a complete bastard who breaks every girls heart just to get laid 1 or 4 times a day but honestly guys he is just a typical horny high schooler. Girls can hate him because they don't want to think that normal guys would be like him in that situation, but guys hate him because he succeeded where guys have tried and failed. Honestly, at his age, most guys were very much like him.

He is just a typical horny teenager that spends the shoe thinking with the wrong head and so ends up doing things you as the viewer won't like.

Psycho #1 is an extremely attractive yet shy girl who most people sympathize with but who no one should. Now you may be wondering why there is a Psycho #1 but not a #2, #3, and so on, and the answer is simple, she is all of those numbers. You see one number wasn't enough to capture how psychotic she is.

She starts off this show as a psycho path. Don't believe me? Name one sane person who serves hot lemonade. But don't worry, she will become much more insane over the course of the show, going so far as to physically transform by episode 11, giving up her eye color to sport pure black empty eyes.

Most people will say that ULB is the villian of the show but I think that Psych #1 is the main villian. Sure she is the product of ULB's creation, but for her to get so infatuated after a single date, I see her as a time bomb with her going crazy at some point or another.

Psycho-slut is the third main character. She is ULB's friend and is a very confident and out going person. Aside from her insanity she is a very likably character. She too, like Psycho #1, will grow gradually more insane over the course of the show. She too will be an antagonist of this show because she instegates all that is to happens in this show. She is more sympathetic because she is a half breed, half psycho half slut. Being such a half breed age doesn't posses the full power of the psychopath nor the free range of a slut.

She is an enjoyable character who has her ups and down moments but, like most characters in this show, if the words slut, psycho, or bastard aren't being used to explain her, she is just a normal teenager.

CONCLUSION: This show is great. The ending is the only reason you should watch this show and it will either be so shocking that you won't like it, or so shocking that you will love it. The majority of the anime is spent with a lot of the same thing happening over and over a few times in different episodes, so it does get repetitive. But there are some entertaining scenes to hold you ever untill thevend, like when a girl tells ULB "I will let you cheat on my best friend with me, if you promise never to cheat on her." #logic.

I recommend this anime because of how shocking the ending is. You wont be thinking about anything else for a long time after seeing it, so whether you liked it or not, the show did its job. And again watch it in one sitting or don't watch it at all.
