Durarara is one of my favorite animes, it was very interesting and kept you going, but the first few episodes are somewhat slow. It speeds up as you keep watching. The anime is about a boy named Mikado Ryuugamine is a high school student who moves to Ikebukuro to attend school with his childhood friend, Kida Masaomi. When Mikado does get there, Kida warns him about the dangers of Ikebukuro, such as an information broker, a headless rider, a man with superhuman strength, and a gang slowly gaining power called the Dollars. The story line may seem dull to people, but it is very interesting and there are plot twists everywhere. It's very suspenseful and catches you off guard. The characters are unique and the anime was very entertaining. The songs may be weird at first, but they turn out to be very catchy and may even get stuck in your head.
