Summary :
For the graphic, artstyle, effect, etc. I'd say it's pretty nice if you compare it to other battle anime (At least the one i've watched). Character face is pretty cute and their personality sinks down well enough for me to remember some of their name. The story is fine, but mainly just about Shu getting pushed around. The Main Character lacks real motivation sometimes. But his growth is something that quite fun to watch on (Although he's already pretty tough to begin with. I prefer Katekyo Hitman Reborn regarding character growth). I also like the villain, named Segai. He is obsessed with "Void" and would do anything just to learn something about it. A little mad but genius.
About the OST, music, etc. I dare to say that the music really holds an important feeling in this anime. The song and sound that they use in this anime, really goes well with the moment. And guess what, the one who composed the OST is also the same one with "Shingeki no Kyojin" and "Aldnoah Zero". Good work on this one
The battle is also quite thrilling to me, although each battle is pretty short but i like the action and keeps watching even though the way they're telling the story is quite confusing, but i can't wait to see what "Void" will come out next. And certain moment in this anime is just super cool and i really love it
BUT, near the ending of the anime, suddenly everything feels a little "rushed" to me. Like they just want it to get over with. So even though i like the action in the anime, but the ending battle is just too easy to win, in my opinion. Like everybody gets KO'd one hit. To me it looks like the character's life purpose is just to finish off their line and die afterwards. The last few episodes really lost me, and i'm barely hanging on just to see the ending.
Well the ending, i'd say is fine with me. I don't have any problems with it and if i was the producer i'd do the same.
All in all, i'd like to give this anime 8.5, but because this website don't have 8.5, it's going to be an 8.
Nonetheless, i'd say if you're out of something to watch. Give it a shot. Might worth your while. I also heard they've released a manga and VN for this
