One of my favorite anime, i lied it mainly because i can relate to the main character. It is a very interesting series but does involve an element of mecha, i usually don't watch any mecha anime but this was the first exception and i'm very glad it was. So although i love the anime as a whole i still have some criticisms - firstly towards the end the characters stopped developing, and after 20 episodes of awesomeness. The story its self also took a bit of a blow because of this, and one thing i didn't like was the fact that a certain character came back in the second arc and it felt like it was a repetition of the first arc but with traded roles. Anyway if you do stick with it it will become a very deep anime... and with an awesome soundtrack
