Inuyasha was my first ever anime. It was the beginning of something new for me, as cheesy as that may sound. I realize now that the series might not have been as spectacular as I had protrayed in my elementary years.

Character growth was a major issue in this show. Many of the main characters like Kagome and Sango lacked developement of any kind. During the fillers, the onslaught of minor characters killed me. I found myself resenting almost ever single petty character, demon or human, that would take up one whole filler episode.

The artwork of the series was great, as expected of Rumiko Takahashi. The anime transferred the art from the manga perfectly and nothing else can be said.

While listening to the soundtrack of this show, I am always reminded of how much the music impacted the show. The music was beautifully composed and preformed. Some of the opening and ending themes could have been chosen more carefully, but was great none the less.

The plot was, at times, very repetative. The fillers were agonizing to watch for a lot of people, including myself. I did enjoy myself watching when there was an actual storyline. Overall, the story could have been better in many aspects.

My rating is fair in my point of view and so is my review. Looking back, I really did enjoy myself watching this anime, no matter what people think.
