Inuyasha was my first ever anime. It was the beginning of something new for me, as cheesy as that may sound. I realize now that the series might not have been as spectacular as I had protrayed in my elementary years.
Character growth was a major issue in this show. Many of the main characters like Kagome and Sango lacked developement of any kind. During the fillers, the onslaught of minor characters killed me. I found myself resenting almost ever single petty character, demon or human, that would take up one whole filler episode.
The artwork of the series was great, as expected of Rumiko

Code Geass is truely a one of kind masterpiece. With it's dramatic plot and amazing visuals, I fell in love with the story and the characters at the first episode.
Lelouch has to be one of the most unique main characters I have met in my career of watching anime. Many people say that he resembles Light Yagami from Death Note, and I have to agree in a sense. They are both very charismatic and intelligent. Also, I find that they both have very dark characteristics that aren't associated with your everyday hero.
