Overall Score: 8/10

Story: 6/10

The story of Mahouka isn't as captivating as it could have been, but none the less it was enjoyable and the plot twists and turns kept the viewing always enjoyable. The pacing was definitely not perfect, and the arcs seemed unrelated and almost insignificant. Despite its flaws, it doesn't have any major plot holes or other problems, and is mostly enjoyable.

Art: 10/10

Some of the best art, animation and character design I have seen. All the combat scenes were gripping to watch (although mostly short) and the large character cast had varied and fitting appearances throughout the show.

Sound: 10/10

Incredible OP, and a load of intense electronic backdrop for gripping fight scenes and such. Definitely one of the highlights of the show.

Character: 7/10

The character development was by no means bad in Mahouka, although it could have easily been better. An obvious problem is the massive cast, making major character development not a priority, or so it seems. Despite this, Tatsuya's secrets and overall overpowered-ness made the show interesting to watch, and is definitely a must-see for those who love OP MC's. However, depending on your standpoint on incest, it has the potential to make this show more or less enjoyable, even if the relationship dynamic is well done between characters.

Enjoyment: 7/10

I had fun watching this anime, but the enjoyment you get from it comes alot from the MC Tatsuya's overpowered-ness, how you take strong incest vibes, and how much the art/sound matter to you. I think most people would enjoy this show, and regardless of the points lost for the slightly-above average story, it was definitely worth the watch.
