Let me start off by saying that this was my first anime and it's the one that got me interested in anime. If I had not seen this one first my overall acceptance of the anime genre wouldn't be what it is today. The characters were great and the story was amazing. Manga readers who came to watch this when it first came out I can completely understand their rage and preference of Brotherhood but honestly, to me, this one was the better of the two. Brotherhood is great for that it follows the original storyline but the plot line to this blew my mind. I love it through and through :)
