I finally got around to watching this about a week ago because it had a lot of hype and I heard it was supposed to be very good, and I was super disappointed. From the start, the main characters seem too perfect and the "bad guys" all seemed more relatable than anyone on the "good side." This actually kept me watching for eight episodes because I was waiting for Tatsuya to realize he was on the wrong side of the equality argument in the show and change sides, having to fight his friends and loved ones, however, nothing changes.
It is a parade of Tatsuya being perfect to the point of ridiculousness and having no real obstacles to overcome. I was rooting for the terrorists trying to gain equality in vain though, as the fights are about as one sided as you can get. The artwork was great, though, I will say that, but art is just a bonus for me, story is the important part and this show fails miserably to tell a story that is engaging.
