So Full disclosure the Hellsing Manga series is one of my favorite of all time and one of the few I've purchased and read through to completion. So when I saw the Hellsing Anime I just had to watch it. I liked it at first, and I did like it overall, but I remember the ending left me scratching my head and saying "who were those guys? where's the Major?" I'm not a fan of an anime completely changing the storyline away from the manga, which is what Hellsing did. I get that in longer series sometimes you catch up to the manga and need to do some filler to let the manga story progress, but this was not the case here, and they didn't just change it a little...it is a completely different story. Luckily this series was redone as Hellsing: Ultimate which stays true to the original story. If you watched this series and felt let down by the changes, do yourself a favor and go watch Hellsing: Ultimate.
