Guilty Crown is an interesting show that has Action, Sci-Fi, Magic, and my personal opinion a bit of Romance. The main characters are Shu Ouma, lnori Yuzuriha, and Gai Tsuiugami. Shu Ouma starts as a normal school boy with a normal life until he meets lnori and joins Gai Tsuiugami group called Funeral Parlor (a group that fights the government for "freedom") which lnori is also apart of. lt was done by Production l.G which has some of good anime under their belt. The director is done by Tetsurō Araki and for anyone who doesn't know him he has done Black Lagoon, Attack on Titan, High School of the Dead, and Death Note. The screenwriter was done by Hiroyuki Yoshino and he was also apart some good shows like Code Geass both 1 and 2, a few Gundam series, Black Butler, and Darker Than Black. The music was done beautifully and it was done by Hiroyuki Sawano. lt really matches with the show and flows with it and even makes it better at times. ln my opinion he does really good battle scene music and what I've noticed at least in these series he has some of his songs in English. Which l thought was a interesting touch, because some of the lyrics were in the background of some scenes and just added so much more. The animation of this show is spot on good, but at times lack when there's no action. These actions scene's are done so well that l was just in a dazed and always wanted more. Some of the problems for me though was slow start, because until episode l was watching 1-3 episodes a day then after l just watched the rest in 1 sitting and was really good. l watched this show in subs, and l would personal prefer. l don't hate the dub, and it is a really good. The only thing is what ever l watch first would be my preference. So, l will give this show 8.0 out of 10 and l would recommend to watch this.

SPOILERS ALERT

When l was watching this show l was kind of confused by what voids are and always wondering. Some of the problems l faced more was that we barely got any character development for Gai until like the last 3 episodes which was kind of depressing, because he is a main character. l feel like Shu for some episodes was becoming something he was trying to destroy or become what wasn't him. He was almost becoming the very thing he was trying to destroy with his "friend" lying about many facts to him that would've changed the story. Towards the end they have Gai come back to life with what l think to be science related stuff. l also thought is was weird when Shu locked or forgotten about his older sister which in my opinion a big deal. This older sister was borderline insane and sometimes crossing that line. She had a thing for her younger brother Shu and wanted to basically make him her husband and repopulate the world with him.....When he denies her she goes insane and starts the Lost Christmas. This was really crazy when it happens a second time and he denies her yet again, but Shu was able to stop her before it getting out of control. The ending was kind of sad to me, because lnori sacrifice herself and Shu adsorbed what little was left her. He became blind because of it and everything ends with the old government falls. l really enjoyed this anime and because of everything left me a bit depressed at the end, besides that this is one of my favorite anime and l will re watch more than once.
