First off, I am a big fan of Code Geass. I fell in love when I first caught "Refrain" on Adult Swim.

Code Geass: R2 was one heck of a ride. I found the first half of the series to be connected to the first season in quality, but the second half is when things got crazy, yet very enjoyable.

Story: Not the best story around, but still great. It's fun to see how Lelouch will destroy Britannia, and the show mixes action, romance, drama, supernatural very nicely together. (The comedy I'm not too fond of) The ending was very nice as well. One of the best endings I've seen. But the story isn't where r2 succeeds at. Score: 8/10

Art: The second season improved greatly in art/animation, etc. The backgrounds are definitely more vivid and the animation/fight scenes are more fluid, too. And the character designs and movements are not too shabby. Score: 9/10

Sound: I love all the openings and endings of Code Geass, as well as the soundtrack. They seem to be very fitting, and I often find myself humming the openings. The dub IMO did a great job, and most of them are very fitting. When the mecha fight the sounds feel very natural. But r2 really does a great job on music. Score: 10

Character: The characters from Code Geass are some of my favorite out of most series, and they are all mostly likeable. Some of the supporting cast was pretty good too, but there were some bad ones. (Rolo) The main cast is as epic and hypocritical as ever, and C.C. is such a great character. The way Lelouch is both a villain and a hero is a great contrast to typical shonen series with there never being a mix. Score: 9

Enjoyment: R2 is by all means the most entertaining media form I've ever seen. It's so addicting with you waiting so eagerly for the next episode. This is one of the main reasons I love r2 so much. I enjoy this series very much, and try very hard to ignore the bashers, (who also forget how enjoyable r2 is) Score: 10
