I continued watching and after the third episode the show had peaked my interest. The magic and the dark feel of this show give it a moody aesthetic. The artwork is charmingly illustrated and it's vibrant and crisp looking. The characters are intriguing without being stereotypical heroes and villains and there is plenty of action to break up the dialogue. This is definitely an anime to invest time into watching.
