Story:
In my opinion overtime the plot seems really over dramatic, something that starts off seeming like a show which wasn't completely plot driven overall but in later episodes things get much more serious and generally I didn't enjoy that part. I really just wanted to have fun with these characters and learn more about all of them not focus on this really weird and unneeded plot. Yet it isn't horrible but it wasn't the type of plot that made me want to see the next episode.
Characters:
The main character Yui was really not very interesting, the other characters in this outshine her greatly. Overall Kanato was my favourite but that was probably because he reminded me of a evil version of Honey from Ouran High School Host Club and I just loved him cause of it. He also was voiced by my favourite Japanese voice actor so that also gave him some credit. Laito was pretty much a weirdo to me, he was kinda pervected and overall just gave me the creeps. Ayato also bored me there was nothing that special about him that had him stand out for me, this also goes for Reiji and Shu. Subaru other than being named after a car was very interesting for me his character had a lot of potential that ended up being thrown out the window completely.
Art:
The art for me is the best part about this anime, although some of the characters tend to look the same a lot of them you can tell are very detailed and alot of work was put into them. You can see the life in all the characters eyes, their eyes are probably the best drawn part. I have to give the anime credit for making it look so amazing that I looked at a banner of it and just had to watch it.
Sound:
For me only the opening stands out, all the background music does exactly what it was meant to do, stay in the background.
Enjoyment:
Its hard to say how I felt about this. Although I did enjoy it, I couldn't go through a single episode without feeling uncomfortable. A lot of the scenes transcend into awkwardness especially the scenes where one of the vampires drink Yui's blood. Its awkward with them saying "its so sweet" and the fact you can hear them sucking the blood. Like I said at the start this anime has incest and I generally feel uncomfortable about incest especially incest that is in this anime where the mom is WAY to touchy with these boys. Watching her trying to seduce her own son creep'd the hell out of me. I still enjoyed it though although the anime had trouble with plot holes and starting plot points that have absolutely no point because it is never acted apon (ex. Subarus Mother, Kanato Ayato and Laito being psychopaths.) It still was enjoyable and kept me watching.
