So why should you watch Kyoukai no Kanata?
The story isn't something really knew or unique and probalby can be forseen many times. People even complain, that it doesn't know what it wants to be, because there are times we have a comedy show, we have deep psychological themes, we have a romance and we have a completly unrelated filler-episode (wich I simply loved!).
But in my opinion that's KnK strong point. I truly laughed, I was excited, I sufferd with the characters, I thought about some serious themes, I cried and I loved every minute of it. Personally I was glad I waited until all episodes were released, because I probably couldn't have wait a week every time.
Yeah, there are some plottholes and the story doesn't really explain the world or anything, but that's okay, the characters don't know everything themeself, that's just how life is.
Also the characters aren't extraordinary or outstanding, but they're kinda living and it's easy to imagine how they lived.
To round everything up, the art is magnificent and the OST is great and fits the atmosphere in every moment.
So give it a try and don't think to much about plotholes or worldbuilding, just let yourself be emarged in a beautiful scenary with really loveable charaters and an emotional story.
