This anime is not for people who like their plot lines to be delivered on a golden plate. That is why it gets so much more hate than it deserves. I get that a good amount of viewers out there don't like to think on their own, use their imagination and see whats underneath the surface, but it's nevertheless a pity to see a fine show drown with the mass of dense and jaded folks.

What it has going on for me personally is a calming pace, a gorgeous city, CHICKENS and a story, that will ask you to put some thought into it and draw conclusions on your own. (if you like Shakespear or are into philosophy, yet enjoy a bit of innocent romance, you should be set up well with this one)

Art: 8/10
This anime is pretty, especially landscape wise. I'm not a huge fan of the choice in their character art, but it wasn't terrible either. Just a bit too generic.

Story: 9/10
I really enjoyed how puzzled I felt. The plot is challenging, not so much in a deep, intellectual way like Steins/Gate, but more along the emotional intelligence line. I would have liked a couple of more episodes to flesh it out better and get more time with the semi-main characters (though to be fair, it does try it's best to spread it's focus equally).

Music: 7/10
The opening and ending themes were fine, hitting the right keys to match the show. However, the tracks that were used within the anime did not stay with me, moreover I got a little annoyed by the same piano track being used over and over and that's coming from someone who really loves classic music.

Characters: 8/10
It's rare for me to enjoy the majority of characters in an anime, to be frank.
This is the case for Glasslip. I was especially thankful to find no moe personalities or annoying people with high pitched voices, yelling for attention every 2 minutes. I especially enjoyed Yuki and Yanagi and would have liked to see more about them, but oh well. Sadly, Kakeru, as one of the most important figures for the plot, was a little let down for me. He didn't seem to develop his own drive, never seem to be really there with all his heart and it made it difficult for me to relate to Toukus feelings. Yet he probably felt the same about himself and it makes sense again.

The show left me with a quiet, warm feeling and this is why I'm writing this review in the first place.
I advice those, who like animes, that will not give you every answer at hand and make things as obvious as possible to give it a go. Everyone else, please pass by and look for something else. (BAKA!) ;)
