My overall impression after selecting "completed" was, just what the hell did I watch?

Story: Where Glasslip fell short the most was the story, or lack there of one. There was no underlying theme or plot to the anime other than the fact that the two main characters develop some type of bond over "future fragments." A lot of things were left unanswered in the end... Like most importantly, what was the point of Jonathan and all those damn chickens?! After halfway in, I began dreading the show and just wanted to know if anything significant happened... I'd also like to add that despite the fact that this has romance in it, I found that the interactions between the pairings were very anticlimactic and confusing. Needless to say, I was left very disappointed and found that this anime's attempt to generate a unique plot was sloppy and all over the place. 2/10

Art: I have never been disappointed in the aesthetics that Production IG shoots out. Very easy on the eyes. This anime shines the most in how there is so much attention to the detail in the art. Even though I never quite understood what the hell was going in in their "future fragments," I found that how they were showcased kept me interested enough to not consider dropping the series entirely. 9/10

Sound: Didn't hate the opening or ending songs, but I still found myself skipping through them with each episode. I honestly don't have much to say in this category since I found it to be pretty standard and no aspect of the shows music particularly staid out it me. 6/10

Character: Absolutely no character development whatsoever. There were only a couple if characters I enjoyed seeing on the screen, but everyone essentially bothered me with their unnecessary angst. Aside from Sachi and Touko, I'm even at a loss as go why these 6 characters are still good friends, since their interactions and exchanges mostly felt awkward to watch. 3/10

Enjoyment: I honestly enjoyed the fact that I no longer have to watch another episode of this show. I don't recall having anything but negative reactions to any of the episodes either.

Overall: When the pilot episode spent about 10 minutes on a bunch of chickens should have given me the cue to not pick up this series. I would not recommend this to anyone. 3/10
