Story: 9
The story was great. Suspensful, full of action, leaving you on the edge of your seat, but having it's hilarious moments which can just leave you busting up. Very well done, but I did feel the first couple of episodes were a bit slow. Now don't get me wrong, they're still great episodes, it just doesn't do the rest of the series justice. If you're not loving it by the third episode, give it one more and you'll be hooked. Well paced, and well done. Only a 9 due to the lackluster of the first couple of episodes.

A quite unique art style, not that one I loved immediately but soon came to cherish. Bright colors everywhere helping to show the more upbeat tone of the anime, along with the hilarious faces some of the characters pull. All facial expressions are quite expressive and never the same for long. Perfectly timed slow motion implemented to help you grasp the full importance of the scene and to kill you with it's beautiful suspense. Very nice and a great change of pace from other anime art styles.

The opening is extremely catchy and completely captures the happy, energetic mood this anime puts out. The music can easily go from the happy and carefree tone of a comical scene straight into the dramatic, suspenseful tone of the truly intense scenes, both helping to excel your emotions to the max whether it be laughing or crying. The ending was okay, not the catchiest in my own opinion, but also does help the energetic, happy feel like the opening does.
Character: 10
Oh the characters... All the characters are amazing. All are unique, quirky, and easily lovable. Everyone can choose a favorite from our haikyuu team, or even from one of the enemies. Every character has amazing depth, conveying motives and emotions very effectively. And this isn't just for our lovely protagonist's team, nope, it goes into everyone. Heck, I was rooting for the opponent to win occasionally 'I know, I know, I'm sorry, I love you Hinata...'. Great character development throughout the entire series.

This show made Sundays something to always look forward to. Whether it be a suspenseful continuation of the last episode, or just a happy-go-lucky new start, it was always something to get excited about. With my love for the characters, seeing their ups and downs, I personally really got into it. I go from laughing to almost in tears in a mere minute. Highly enjoyed it!

Quite a suspenseful and addicting story, a unique art style that really captures the characters, very fitting music and a great opening, beautiful character development along with quirky unique, and easily lovable characters, extremely enjoyable. Overall quite a fantastic anime. Recommendable to everyone, even if they're not a sport kind of person. ^-^ Thanks for reading!
