Kill la Kill marks Trigger's return as a good anime studio, with over the top action and comedy with a few minor problems.
Actual Score: 8.6

Story: 8
The story focuses around Ryuuko Matoi revenge story as she attempts to find her father's killer which just further escalates as the story progresses but can be spilt into to three distinctive parts the first focusing on the revenge story which is a wild ride and a lot of fun to watch focusing on Ryuuko battling many club leaders; oh yeah by the way this is set in a HighSchool run like a dictator ship by the merciless student council president Satsuki and her elite four, but back on topic the middle arc is by far the worst disappointing bit as it is boring and only provides bits of comedy and drama that are note worthy good and finally the final part is just awesome and I won't say anymore because that would be spoilers.

Art: 7
The art is the shows weakest part as it can go from looking amazing with well done battles that have an over the top feeling that Kill la Kill wants as well as stylish art that feels fresh and unique but can also feel a bit of for people not used to it but trust if it looked different it wouldn't be the same; now on to the bad points as Trigger really felt they spent most of their money on the fight scenes as some of animation can come as quite poor in other scenes as well as these stand still like scenes that appear before a epic fight and then will cut after the fight that ruins the moment.

Sound: 9
The soundtrack is amazing with well orchestrated pieces for various villains and other characters that make each encounter feel unique and will hype you up for character on screen as well as "Don't Lose your way" that plays during most of Ryuuko's fight scenes making them feel more amazing as you watch them as well as it feeling like it's speaking to Ryuuko telling her not to lose her way during the fights; breaking the fourth wall there.

Characters: 9
The characters are all unique and different in both appearances and personality but there to many to go over as there is a long cast so ill just go over a few characters; firstly there is Ryuuko the fiery hot headed protagonist who will fight all just to find out her father's killer and goes thought some good character development; next is Mako the side chick comic relief character but is actually genially funny and does serve as critical part of plot and Ryuuko's development and Satsuki the Student council president and dictator of the school who has a cold and calm personality but develops into something more over the course of the series.

Enjoyment: 10
I loved this show and would recommend it do any anyone who loves over the top action, comedy and doesn't mind a plot you don't take seriously. Warning: Theirs a lot of fan service and ecchi scenes; you have been warned.
