A very touching anime which is put together magnificently whether it be the way that each of the characters are developed or each of the unique stories which the characters hold.

Story: 8/10

This story like many other key titles tends to send your heart on a journey in which some moments you will be left laughing and at other times to the point where tears start to roll down your face.

It splits each girl's story into arc's in which Yuichi has to help them tackle the problem that they face. This may seem like a simple and quite cliche'd concept but they conduct it beautifully to make you feel as if you were there, so when they want you to be sad you will and when they want you to be happy you will as well. Each girls story don't feel similar and each one unravels in a different way which keeps the anime refreshing. However like I find in a lot of key anime's, they tend to discard characters once there arc is done.

Art: 8/10

What can I say about the art of Kanon? Well it is gorgeous with a varieties of colors which are used well to set the mood of what's happening currently in the anime. The characters are all well designed and although they may not appeal to all I personally liked the way in which they were designed. Although it was quite reminiscent of some other key titles.

Sound: 9/10

I find that sound in these types of anime is always very important to the way in which you feel. Kanon hits it bang on with the way that they wish to make you feel. I never found that there was a song that was distinctively out of place with the scene. The voice acting of each characters was quite distinct and crisp so you don't mix up them, overall this was quite a big aspect for me about the anime.

Character: 8/10

Even though I felt initially that the characters were quite samey to others I'd seen before the way in which they unveiled there back stories made them seem different. Yuichi was a really good character, he's quite unique for a lead as there is almost two sides of his character. At some times he'll be quite jokey and funny, but when things get serious he fits that role perfectly as well. The beauty of the characters is that there mystery that is continuously presented is what really the driving force of you wanting to keep going onto the next episode.

Enjoyment: 8/10

I enjoyed this anime a lot.The way they blended each aspect they were going for whether it be the supernatural side of things or the slice of life side made it overall quite an enjoyable experience that I would recommend for others to watch.

Overall, it may not be every bodies cup of tea but personally I found it quite a dazzling anime so 8/10
