Out of the two hours I spent on the movie, I probably missed half of it since I had my eyes drenched in tears most of the time. No joke. And I'm one of those who didn't even cry during THAT episode of Clannad: Afterstory...you know what I'm talking about.

Don't see any point in going through a summary since you already got it in the synopsis. Let's just hit the review.

Story: 10
The introduction, telling us the story of how Hana met Okami was probably the shortest but most touching love story I've ever seen. After Okami's gone and the main story hits off you're still haunted by his absence.

I'm gonna be honest, the pacing is rather slow, but not at all in a bad way. The tale of life on the countryside lets us see how children grows, relationships are established and how Hana, little by little, accomplish greater achievements with each day. The pace develops the story well, and you get quickly dedicated to the characters different ways in life.

Less formally said; it's so fkcn beautiful you can't get a grip of yourself. You just want everyone to be happy.

Art: 8
I almost feel like I'm insulting the production company giving it an 8, but I was somehow disappointed with the animation of the characters, especially the kid wolves. The backgrounds definitely weighs up the score, but in order to give a 9, I'd still expect something more (I got spoiled by watching Byousoku 5 Centimeter and Kami-sama no Inai Nichiyoubi).
It's pretty tho, I'll give 'em that, and next time, I'll get a legal copy and watch it on a bit better screen than a simple mac. Maybe that will help (Oh yes, there will be a next time.)

Sound: 8
The music is just as cute as the story. And I wept to the ending song of course. It's perfectly suited for the story's mood, but probably nothing you'll look for on youtube.

Character: 10
Pretty much each and every character is unique, not only in comparison to each other, but to pretty much any anime you've watched. You follow the character developments thoroughly, to the extent that when some personalities makes a 360' turn halfway through the movie, you don't even consider it being unreasonable.
Besides, I love the old man. He's a star in my eyes.

Enjoyment: 10
Well, obviously, I loved it. I only wrote this review 'cause I had to tell someone how much I loved it, but no one was at home. After watching Clannad Afterstory I never thought I'd find something that would touch me as deeply again - I was wrong. Now, I'm at square one and the search has reached new dimensions.

Overall: 10
It's a subtle but beautiful story that reminds the viewer of which aspects in life you should cherish. I don't know how to better describe it, my ability to formulate myself is going downhill since my head is starting to ache cause of all the sobbing. You should watch it. Everyone should watch it. No one at MAL wants to miss the best two animated hours of their life.
