Story- Deus Ex Machina the god of this world is dying and needs to find a successor, so he creates a survival game to determine his heir by using 12 future diaries that go hand in hand with the users personality. The game is a battle of outsmarting the other diary users by murdering them or destroying their future diaries. The show also likes to throw in plot twist and the biggest plot twist will have you really interested in this show.
Sound- The music in Mirai Nikki is great when setting the tones of each scene perfectly. Also that first opening theme song is probably the one of the best opening themes in any anime
Characters- Yukiteru Amano is the main male protagonist and if I were to give him a character rating on a scale of A+ to F I would give him a B-. Sometimes he mediocre and sometimes he's good. Yuno Gasai is the main female protagonist and is the crazy stalker girlfriend of Yukiteru Amano. Also the Queen of Yandare. She is without a doubt one of my favorite female character from an anime. My grade for her is an A+. She is just a great character. The other characters in this show are good supporting characters with disturbed and tortured past and they all are likable characters.
Enjoyment- I had a blast watching this show from start to finish. The creepy scenes in this show were in fact disturbing, but the best scenes are when Yuno goes berserk that alone is why this show is entertaining.
*Also in this anime there are omakes at the end of each episode some important to the plot, but it's mostly for comedic relief. F.Y.I. the omake in the last episode is very important to watch.
