The series is about Yamada-chan, a high school girl who wants to sexually conquer 100 guys while in high school, but who is still a virgin. She plots to date her first lover but quickly discovers she's very much a novice and quite inexperienced in everything related to guys and dating. Later she meets a rival that challenges her for favorite girl on campus.
I can't speak for the original dialog but the English subtitled version I watched, was fairly crude (sorry I did not note which translation team did it!). They tried for American street slang, in particular for sexual topics but it didn't really fit the characters or the series.
The characters are likable after several episodes (not so much at first). Because they are all decent teenagers the chosen translations didn't fit because they were phrases used by juvenile delinquents. Still, the story contained a lot of sexual innuendo. Hard PG rating for sure.
The story turns into a real love story towards the end, which is well done -- and in fact touching -- and elevates my overall rating to 7/10.
