While the title suggests simple everyday school life, the contents are the exact opposite. Nichijou is just like Daily Lives Of High School Boys, but with girls and many more versatile characters. I heard many people say that it's a moe anime, well, they are absolutely wrong. I found myself laughing hysterically over the absolute ridiculous activities of the school girls and the nonchalance of a talking cat! It's upsetting that the anime ended before i even realized how important it became in my uneventful life. The voice actors were superbly coordinated with the characters and gave more oomph to them. The fact that they showed one of the protagonists to be a yaoi lover made me love the show even more for i could relate myself with her too much. the thing i loved about this anime is how it brought about the true emotions a human being has into fictional characters and also the friendship between the school girls. Aioi Yukko was one of my favorite characters because she was the life of the show. If Nichijou had no Yukko in it, i don't think i would love it as much.
All in all, i don't think any character disappointed me, irrespective of how stupid and ridiculous they may be personality wise, even though that was the only reason why the show is what it is. Nichijou is that kind of anime that can make you laugh and take a break at the same time. if you feel that you have too much of an intense anime, you can take a break and watch this one. Only a warning, don't eat your food while watching this because it's so funny, you won't be able to swallow it.
