Yesterday, I watched School Days and it broke me hard. Man, I'm so happy that I didn't listen to friends who didn't like the anime that much.

Indeed, the anime has some points what definitely could have been better, but that doesn't bother me much. The power of School Days is that it shows normal students in making decisions, which led into the end to a huge climax. But, what else was possible if you put a horny guy, psycho-bitch, some real bad behaving girls and some other limp people together?

No, true is that making an wrong or right decision doesn't mean always be the good one to do. Sometimes it's better to lie or to give up, to get less pain of it then hold on. And honestly, I've seen the other possible ending; it suits the people better and it is a much better end, but it doesn't make the point with the real ending: True love won't justify any crime, even though your whole life has been screwed.

To end this review, I just want to tell something about the characters (the music is fine; nothing more than that and the art is solid for its time). Truth is that they won't go to deep into the characters, but that isn't needed, because it isn't that hard to empathize with the characters. Even though, I didn't like the ONA; it tells something more about Katsura. This explains a lot about her behaviour in the anime.

With all this, I only can conclude that it is hated for nothing by most people; why would it else have an score of 6.50?
luckily, I did enjoy it and wouldn't have missed it for a second....
