The story is about this girl who is training to be in the hellsing organization learning how to use her superpowers as a vampire and how to deal with the conditions of being a vampire. There is little story due to the untimely ending of 13 episdoes because the manga wasn't finished as this was written in 2003. I give a story 7/10 because it was rushed.
Sound: It has stylish music even at the soundtrack for something like this in 2001 it's better than anything in mainstream right now. 9/10
Characters: The characters don't seem to have any humor mainly because they're mature. There are several not so many in the anime. One particularly stands out from the others Her name is Seras, despite the tragics she saw she toughens, she matures, and never acted immature or made jokes.
Enjoyment: I loved this anime because there is no immature sex jokes or whatever or nosebleeds that is put way too often in each episode of anime instead the people that are ignorant (mainly villians) are put out easily.
Overall: This is a classic you'll enjoy if you like mature, supernatural, or old animation which I'm a sucker for. It'a great masterpiece that people will enjoy I'd say a 9/10. This is the best vampire anime ever because the directors and everybody I can tell put a long time into it because it is a serious anime and not full of jokes.
