So this anime had alot to live up to, being hemmed by the people who made the legendary Gurenn Lagann. Though, I liked Gurenn Lagann better, I have to say I did enjoy the time I had with the show.

In terms of plot, what can you say about a plot about clothes. But still, they do their best to make it as epic and crazy as possible. The characters are all unique and interesting, highly distinguishable from each other. Everyone has their own flair which is greatly appreciated in a time where anime lately have just been ripping off each other. The characters don't really go through arcs or develop al ltat much, but that doesn't really seem like a mark against the show, but just something it didn't want to focus on.

In terms of action, it's by the same guys who did Gurenn lagann! Expect high octane explosions, arms flailing armed sword play, everyone shouting, soaker hose like blood sprays, you got it!

The musical score was so and so, with the only rememorable tracks being Ryuko's theme music and the first opening theme.

A negative about the show I'd say is there are a good number of seemingly filler episodes, though they at least get somewhat referenced later on. The attack on Osaka seems like a good place to skip, which is if I recall somewhere between episode 12-16.

There was also some episodes during the first 12 episodes that could be skipped as well.

All in all, I enjoyed what I saw, and most likely I'll watch it again in he future.
