Ergo Proxy is the story of a world torn apart. The surviving member's of the world now live in domes because of the ecological danger's of the outer world. A young man trying to become a citizen with living rights in the dome city starts to find himself stuck in odd event's he can't explain. While a dome police officer turns the event's into the center of her investigation which leads her to the young man. They quickly discover that a lot information about the world is hidden from the as they try to uncover the truth while at the same time trying to understand what it has to do with the young man.


The Story of Ergo Proxy is quite interesting, set in a post apocalyptic world, the theme is very dreary. While you like to know what exactly is going on in this world the story seems to drag in places and you can start to lose interest a tad.

The Art is very sharp and well done, the only qualm I have is the drab color's which is easily explained by the theme so while they fit perfectly it still can be tiring on the eye's to look at shades of brown and grey over and over again.

The Sound is good quality and has some interesting music pieces in it from time to time but not too much to stand out on it's own.

Character's are very interesting. At some moment's you hate them and other moment's you feel their pain. You're constantly trying to put together a puzzle to understand them better and just when you think you have one small thing can change your perspective.

Enjoyment is good other than the part's where it seems to drag there are just a couple scene's where the point as already made and it seems to just sit there for a minute before moving on.

Overall it's a good anime with an interesting story and great character's. The mystery will keep you enthralled until all is revealed in the final episodes.
