While No Game No Life might seem like a rip-off of Sword Art Online at first glance, It is so not a rip off. The anime has its own premise and plot.

Watching the anime was very enjoyable to me, with a great plot and excellent setting, although this isn't really a masterpiece in my opinion.

Story: The story is one of the strongest points in this anime. I find myself understanding the plot quite well and the plot doesn't seem to fall off later and keeps it's consistency throughout the anime. Although this story doesn't fall off, I find myself quite disappointed at the end and its failure to wrap things up for the anime. I can only assume that they have more to come, and this will affect the overall score later. 8/10

Art: The art doesn't fail to please my eye. Very well done. It brings a bright settings to me, with upbeat and colorful people, reminding us that it's practically a game. 9/10

Sound: The music isn't all that special. It does have some catchy music that sounds like there actually in a game. 7/10

Characters: This may not be the strongest point in the anime. Although Sora and Shiro are enjoyable to watch, and its interesting that you want the two to win, and they do win and pull it together in the end, I find myself really confused with Steph's character, and the anime's inability to determine if she's an idiot or intelligent. In some points, shes smart, but most points, she's considered a person who can't follow along with what the two protagonists are explaining. The inability to determine this drops the character score very low to me, and almost seems like she's just a filler character. 6/10

Enjoyment: I feel like this anime was very enjoyable to watch, with upbeat characters and very funny jokes and giggles along the episodes. I did not fail to understand most of what the show provides us, fully understanding what the two main characters are doing. Even though Steph was a weak point, it was still funny how she was being treated (for comedic purposes). The games in the anime show a serious tone, but reminding me that it's just a game in the end. 9/10

Overall: This anime is very enjoyable and has an excellent premise and story. With very little weak points in the anime, Im just hoping there is a season 2 to come to wrap up what season 1 couldn't.
The score for this anime for me is
With knowledge that Season 2 is coming(8/10)
If season 2 doesn't come(6.7/10)
Right now(7/10)
