WARNING
AnoHana: The Flower We Saw That Day is one of those short, little shows that once you see them, you say to yourself: "What am I going to do with my life?" This show will leave you with a void, and you will have no way of filling it after the anime is done.
Now, with that out of the way, here's my review of AnoHana: The Flower We Saw That Day.

Story-9
AnoHana's 11 episodes are all filled to the brim with emotion and development. Not a single moment of screentime was wasted here, resulting in an emotional thrill ride full of laughs, tears, smiles, frowns, and excitement.
It was a gem of a story that will stick with me for a ways to come.

Art-9
AnoHana was animated by A-1 Pictures, a company known for engrossing animation. Their reputation is well deserved here, as AnoHana looks fantastic. It has a good contrast for animation of happiness and sadness. All character models are animated smoothly and distinctively. Also, the colors are used BRILLIANLY.

Sound-10
The opening and ending of AnoHana are so perfect for the show, its astonishing. The opening gets you excited to see the show, but oddly relaxes you at the same time, whereas the ending pretty much always makes you want to break down and cry every time.
The OST in this show is good too, and it fits the scenes they are accommodated to nicely.
As of yet, AnoHana is not dubbed in English, but that is completely fine, because the Japanese voice acting in this show was absolutely phenomenal! You can really hear the actors crying sometimes.

Characters- 10
AnoHana has some of the most memorable characters I've seen in an anime EVER. Every character has his own trauma of losing a good friend, and each character is fleshed out to an insane degree! Especially Jinta and Menma, the main protagonists, even though everyone has a major role in the whole story.

Enjoyment- 9
AnoHana: The Flower We Saw That Day was an emotional rollercoaster that won't be leaving me any time soon, with its brilliant characters, story, and music. AnoHana is the only media: movie, video game, TV show, book, or otherwise, to truly make me cry.

If you're looking for a good show to get some tears out of you and to stick with you for awhile, you found it.

Overall- 9
