I personally liked KWMS very much because of the qualities the main character, Misaki, has. She is a very independent, smart, and headstrong girl, who does what she can to help everyone. I think she makes for a very relatable character or at least a good role model. This anime is a romantic anime, but I find it very refreshing as the story revolves around a girl who knows what she wants to do and why; she is a girl who does not depend on people much, but she is also not without fault. Her nemesis is a good-looking boy who is too cool for words and seems to enjoy teasing her. The outcome is inevitable.
The story has comedy and romance (of course) showing how Takumi has taken a liking to Misaki. But Misaki doesn't like him, she actually hates him. But the story develops where in Misaki, bit by bit, falls in love with him. Along the way, the series show how the characters develop as well, and the story has an abundant set of characters. All of them are used until the end of the series, so the story actually has consistency. The story also tackles about future goals in the later part of the series. The animation is quite normal actually. Nothing too bad, nothing too good as well, average. But it properly depicts the story from the manga series.
So it's actually a really good series all in all, gives you that wonderful essence of romance, along with humorous comedy beside it. And the story is consistent, and it shows the character's development.
I recommend this to all ages. The series is rather easy to follow and understand, so if you are a first time Anime watcher, then I recommend something like this. It's not too complicated, it's not too fancy, but it still has that uniqueness to its story. And it has a romantic-comedy nature so it is very easy to follow.I don`t want to say anything to spoil the show, but in my opinion it is a refreshing change from all the fantastical anime out there because of its realistic setting and characters.
