When I started watching D.Gray-Man, I immediately liked to concept of it, the art was great, and Allen was adorable. I didn't like any of the characters, sans Allen, though. I especially hated Kanda. But as the plot progressed I found myself thinking things like "Don't be dead, please don't be dead!" About most of the charaters anytime anything happened. Even Kanda! So, the series has become one of my favorits, and I now love all the characters! Especially Allen, Lavi and Kanda.
