Although Bleach is an anime series I would probably never rewatch, it's quite worthy of a watch. It has an interesting storyline (mostly for those high-packed action shonen people) and well, action! The times where it tries to reveal to your compassionate side with *friendship* scenes and whatnot don't quite get to me like other anime easily do. Bleach's popularity is somewhat-completely dependable on its action. The action is just really -KICK ASS- at times. (For example, episodes 219 and 118) But at times, like when the fillers kick in or the animation is terrible, I can get quite lazy to watch it or even think about dropping it and just continue reading the manga. Nonetheless, the anime is really great and is full of those intense, bad ass scenes. Another thing I especially like about Bleach is that Tite Kubo is pretty much a genius at awesome character deisgns, but there just isnt enough character development in the whole story. Ichigo, the main character and one of my most disliked characters, rarely shows character growth. I've come to point where I usually am not interested in the main cast but rather the side characters. (For example, I loved the entire fight with Nnoitra and Zaraki as well as the history between Nnoitra and Nel and how it connected to his lost.) A pretty lovable series at times. Recommended to those shonen-crazy fans. Oh yes, and the soundtracks have some very good tracks as well.
