Story - The story is fairly simple going and has a new "main" (I use the word main loosely here) plot every 5 or so episodes because they slowly introduce new characters and their problems until the big finally which I can guarantee not a single one of you will see coming, but its great no matter how you look at it. For the vast majority of the episodes it serious with a load of comedy thrown in and even if you see it coming it’s still one of the funniest things you'll see. But it does have its serious side, like the death of a character and romance between friends and the first plot you're given is the main character trying to regain his memories of this town from when he was young.
Art - well the art in this I basic the only bit that really stands out is the "demons" that we see latter in the series and to be totally honest their not all that special either but don’t get me wrong the animation is good but it just doesn’t stand out.
Sound - now this is basically the same as the art, nothing really stands out, and the only real praise I can give the sound is there are some really good voice actors used and an interesting catchphrase for one of the characters.
Characters - well in Kanon (2006) there’s a character for everyone there’s your moe there’s your clown, the hopeless one, the sporty one I think there literally is a character for everyone and everyone will love little Ayu-Ayu.
Enjoyment/Overall - this is an anime that is you don’t see it you're missing out big time, heck, every time I’ve been to a convention (most recently Wai-con 09) somehow I always end up talking to at least one person (who I meet there) about Kanon (2006) and how good it is and how everyone should see it, so be there or be square!
