The Beauty of This Anime

Let me just start from the top... hopefully all these emotions and thoughts racing in my mind will still be there by the time I'm done writing this but. I had not expected much from this show. This, what almost felt to be half-assed show with nothing in it. The only saving grace (that got me hooked) was the ecchi and the early on romance. That is when I had taken this anime a simple and cutesy one, that is what I had entailed for and I had accepted that. Of course... that's when I first started. Looking back now that I have finished it, this show had absolutely been one of my favorites. How the jokeful beginning, although what back then I had thought to be (when i say beginning i literally mean the first episode) god awful had only contributed to the over all beauty of this anime. This is one of the few animes that I felt had wrapped up very nicely in the end. There was no"wait, can't there be an episode where they do this?" Everything had been fulfilled in this anime. The serious moments had only been made better as the jokeful ones made you realize all their hardships and good times together. Making the serious scenes (sigh sorry no specifics) a lot better. To be honest, I'm glad there were this many episodes, around 50. Because with this, you can almost feel the full impact of the entire anime. The love between Saito and Louise, their moments together, how they grew to be fond of each other and literally couldn't live without each other. You could feel the steady tension, the rising emotions and feelings. It had felt like you WERE saito, as each episode (throughout the entire series) had shown you a little bit of their lives. Each and every part, their fights, when they didn't like each other, when they missed each other, when they loved each other, and everything. This had all contributed to the overall feel of the anime, leaving you with this almost heart ache when the serious moments do come. As I'd like to point out clearly, you could feel the steadiness of the anime, like as if it never skipped from one episode to the next. You don't see them liking each other out of the blue for no reason, you reason with yourself how they got to like each other and it makes sense. It's not a surprise when you see them admit and say "i love you" because you could feel the steadiness and pacing. After finishing this anime.... I do believe I must call it a flower anime, or some corny stuff like that. An anime that, honestly, in the beginning you don't even know why you're still watching it. It seems to be kind of stupid. However, when you finally finish it, or the more you progress into it, the more you realize that every past action is simply meant to bring about the beauty in the next. It's a snowball effect, and that's why at the end you're left with a big giant freakin snowball in your heart and you are left in a room alone in the dark, where you're left to realize you just finished a beautiful heart-felt anime. (or maybe thats just me). Here's how I recommend this anime, it will only be beautiful and amazing if you watch this from start to finish. Every screentime ever scene every moment and every everything had feelings and emotions that would later bloom. If you are not going to watch this anime from start to finish. Don't, cus otherwise if you don't, it is the shittiest anime ever. However, from start to finish, at the end of the day, I could not help but add this as one of my favorites. (also, i had added this to an overall of 10 because, the story and character interactions i simply could not help but feel that this anime is worthy of a 10. Also, this is an overall review of the whole anime. I hope this will still help you in beginning a journey of beautiful wonders, just have the time to do so though. By the way, don't stop, it gets better ;))

P.S:
So that I'm not called a cheater or whatevs, this is also my review for the last season of this show. However, after re-reading that review I had felt it more potent to place into this review as to hopefully get more curious people to watch this slow but amazing show. Thank you! (sorry for my bad reviews by the way, I had recently started and I usually write these right after I finish the anime, while the thoughts and feelings are still flowing. However this USUALLY leaves me with a biased opinion. However, seeing how there is not much criticism I will be fair and write down what I had thought to be some bad things about the anime.)

The Downfalls, of This Beautiful Anime.

Although I wish I could say I loved this with all my heart, and trust me I do, I must try not to be biased and point out some flaws in this anime. As I had said before, this anime is very slow and almost makes you feel stupid for deciding to watch it. However, please find the joy in the echhi and the early on romance and you will feel bound to watch more, which is only making it better. This anime is more for the patient and the determined people who have a shit ton of time on their hand. Which leads me to another flaw. I had watched this anime in quick succession as I had decided to watch a long anime having too much time on my hands. This had left the snowball effect to be more effective since it had kept on rolling, if you do not have enough time on your hands, although I do not know if this anime will still be enjoyable. Be wary. Speaking of the early on romance, that is all its good for. The early on romance in the show (as i like to think of it, borderline ecchi but not quite), had saved the anime and hooked you into watching more. However, be wary, when the serious stuff happens and later you wish they would get along. It could quite possibly get on your nerves quite a bit. Also, somehow, I have no idea how, but that corny ass beginning had actually become a later charm of this anime. Corny being the whole magic school and the over dramatized everything. I'm not too big of a fan of magic when it comes to wands, especially when you use terms as "line magician." However, later in the anime as they developed the plot it turned out to be quite a charm of this show.

UGH!
You have no idea how painful that was seeing how I love this show. I'm sorry, but please let me wrap this up on a good note XD.

Last Few Bits and Pieces

The story had dug deep into my soul almost. Although that is a little dramatic, how the anime had made a place within my heart by showing all the characters being fond over each other. Also how they grow on each other, I couldn't help but enjoy it and give them both a 10. To be fair I had wished to give the art a 9 but I had felt that would be too biased. Reason for this is that the kiss scenes, omg the kiss scenes, is what almost had been a major charm of this anime. On the art for that they had did amazing, however refraining from biased opinion I'll leave it at an 8. This being that the art did fall off slightly enough to bother me quite a bit. However I did enjoy the art very much of this show. The sound, at first, was horrible. But of course, they had saved the better for the later as later in the show it gets very nice and in fact you want to hear more. The corny playful music played in the beginning when everything was jokeful, being replayed when everything gets serious and tense. Almost like as if to you remind you of those good times, it is all very sad and I could not help but give a 9. okay then, that concludes this review, sorry for the long one but I had felt I needed to get everything out, enjoy! ^
