Normally some other people would at least try to avoid those subjects at school. I forgot to mention, some kids who hated numbers would rather go more literary subjects.
No Game No Life did break that for you. Who would have thought that this show and especially the main characters make this super interesting and exciting in each episode? You will never be disappointed at all and even beg for the next episode to come out already after the other. Some other game animes totally have surpassed the others, which is this anime of course from my own opinion.
No Game No Life is one of the best seasons this year and I'm sure of that. If anyone says that this show is not that great, he/she must be missing something awesome once in a while. By the way, this show is beyond awesome or bad@ss! I call this a rare gem in the anime history, you might have a different one, but this is one for me.
Story 10/10
No Game No Life is all about two NEETs and legendary gamers back in their world. In the real world which is around in Tokyo. They are known as Blank or Kohaku for not having defeated by anyone in their record. They are impossible to defeat and some people have even tried to defeat this pair, which they undoubtedly lost in the game. No one knows about their identities in real life. They are actually outcast in the society as they have experienced depressing things in their lives.
Sora, he’s an 18 years old guy, the oldest of the two, and Shiro, the 11 years old LOLI who has massive of intelligence, above par than Sora. These two have encountered match between Tet, a God in a parallel world, as soon as they have defeated him. Sora and Shiro are summoned or transported to a world, which is ruled everything by games. No one would have ever thought these total two strangers in that world would be the saviors of Humanity or as they call it Imanity in that world. They are 16 races and Imanity is the lowest races since they are weak to the other races. They are defenseless and vulnerable. Some other races use magical powers, or great intelligence, while the others have strong senses than the others.
This is similar to the other animes out there like Sword Art Online and BTOOOM. They try to finish the end of the game to escape and go back to their normal lives. No Game No Life is different since the two main characters prefer to live in a world that is totally far from real life. Back in their world they are nobody and they are seen as weird. But the world they are invited in, these two are like celebrities that attempt to get at the top. The truth is, Sora and Shiro go to extremes to enjoy each game. Game is their life.
Why? The development of each episode is very well thought. The 10 pledges are explained thoroughly that must be followed like the 10 Commandments in the Bible. Each episode also leaves the viewer for wanting more. Every match doesn’t look or seem dull, but exciting and you won’t even believe the gazillion plot twists in every match they are in. I promise, the storyline is really good! Even some principles of Physics are used in this anime. Some funny and good reference is included that I would never think that they will use. What else are you looking for, two total geniuses, LOLI! I’m sorry for loving lolis ==’, a pervert and funny oni-chan that has weakness over animal ear girls, a dim-witted Dola-chan, and a weirdo Flugel and that is Jibril to complete the good recipe of the storyline. The serious amount of time that they have spent and creativity is endless. The pure bad@ss moments and pure awesomeness will amaze you in each episode and even at the end of the anime, leaving you for begging more. Here, hoping for the next season already by next week or even nexth month.
The very well thought episode will leave the viewers in awe. There are some episode that are less exciting sometimes, but they do not fall from lower than good, it manages to be always far decent for most of the episodes. Now, I demand for the second season ! !
Art 10/10
This isn’t just the above anime art you will ever see. This is just totally awesome and I like the radiant colours that they use for this anime. We always see the standard black lines and here we will see the unique red lines. Shaft does this also, but I say MADHOUSE art beats Shafts this time. The vivid colours that are used give the surroundings to look more a fantasy look. Even in the darkest places they’ve showed looks wonderful in the eyes.
Sound 10/10
The music in each scene is suitable. I don’t really notice the background music in some scenes or I rather ignore them. Even the Openings and Endings in some other animes sometimes would rather to skip them and jump over to the main part. But the Opening and the Ending of this anime, I never even skip one of them LOL!
The OSTs that I ignore much, I liked them in this anime, especially when Shiro and Sora revealed why they win that match and explained it to their opponent. I can’t help but smile along their victory xD. The voices are also superb and fit every character in the anime.
Character 10/10
The characters are fun to watch and hard to decide who you will be bias of. Since each character is lovable and Shiro’s virgin jokes to Sora are just fucking hilarious.
I love the personalities of each character. Sora’s deceitful tactics towards Dola are darn funny. Seeing Sora’s appearance, you wouldn’t think he’s such a badass character at all until you watch the anime. Shiro the moe filled; her personality is rather interesting in my opinion. It’s rare to find an 11 year old girl with a good sense of humour, and is rather mature than her older brother.
Kurami’s tough appearance kinda surprises me that she’s kind of a cry baby. I find Izuna-tan very cute along with Shiro, another moe filled again ;p. And the Shrine Priestess the new character never thought to have a cute character in that holy sexy appearance ! ! I want to see more of her xD. Geez, she appeared in the very last episode fuck that. I feel like I’m Sora at this moment xD.

Yes, I’ve enjoyed this anime and I’m not disappointed every week. Every episode is just fucking all worth of waiting. I hate waiting for new episode every week, I tend to wait for months and watch them in one go. But No Game No Life kept me starved for more. The cliffhanger that they posed kind of frustrated me, but the wait was all worth it when the new episode was out. The ideas that they used in this one was really exciting and interesting.
Overall! Briliant! I've never scored an this perfect! Unfortunately, the show just ended and next week wouldn’t be as exciting like before. Anyways, I recommend this anime to be added to your list it’s totally freaking worth it. I’m wishing that the next season will be on its way to be released already T^T.
