The story was great but has a slow start but after that slow start it becomes AMAZING (I'm looking at you Steins;Gate). The plot twists to suprises and some other stuff is amazing.
The art is AMazING too. I mean imagine how much a full 12 or 24 episode would look like with a normal budget. Now fit that into a 2 hour long movie. Kyoto has pretty good animation so you would imagine a budget for a series into a 2 hour movie made by kyoto it would and does look AMaZing. You can see everyone's breath because it's winter obviously and everyone is wearing their winter clothes too. Except for the girls. WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY WEARING SKIRTS IN THE MIDDLE OF FUCKING WINTER. There's Kyon wearing like a trench coat with 5 layers of cloths on while the girls have fucking skirts.
The sound is Really good. Just putting it out there.
The characters are really good but they are much different from the original series. Every single character changes in this movie. Well, there really isn't any character development for any of the other characters because they are different from their normal selves for no particular reason. But, Kyon however, takes so much character development that Kyon might have sucked all of the other character's character development and put it all on himself.
Kyon goes through lot's of character development and goes through alot of problems.
Enjoyment. The movie is great, but the beginning is kind of slow so it may not be enjoyable. But, all of that slowness is all worth it.
Overall, this is a Fantastic movie. If only the series was this good.
