This would be the first time that I will write a review for an anime, and also the very first time that I’ve watched an anime series for a baseball. Im not that familiar with the sports but this show really caught my attention, which made me finish the series in one whole day. (please excuse for the wrong grammars ^^)
While watching one outs, even though I didn’t really know about baseball rules, whatsoever, I still find myself enjoying and laughing whenever Tokuchi Toua (the protagonist), played his tricks on their opponents and their teams manager.
I don’t want to spoil this series to you, but let me tell you a part of the story. Tokuchi Toua is known as a really good gambler who can read his opponents mind, lost to Kojima in a battle called One outs. After defeating Toua, Kojima decided to invite him into his team called the Lycaons who always placed last in baseball ranking. However, the lycaons owner, not trusting Toua, who has no Baseball record except for his record in one outs stated that he will not receive a yearly salary but only for the performance that he showed during the games. But Toua refuse the offer and instead make a deal that whenever he pitches and force a batter out, he will receive 5,000,000 yen for every batter but for every successful base run for an opponent during his pitching, he will pay 50,000,000 yen. This is a very exciting game of psychological battle and strategy. I recommend you to watch it guys^^. Again sorry for wrong grammars. haha
