Honey and Clover is a very unique anime and I would definitely recommend it to those who enjoy watching a ''different'' plot . Overall, the storyline is very detailed and includes many emotional scenes . It's extremely different from your typical moe anime with a fairy tale ending . It's realistic ; it shows the effects of actual human relationships that don't end the way we all hope . I ended up dropping the series because it didn't go how I wanted it to , and the protagonist(s) sometimes annoyed me . However it is a perfect fit for those who love to ponder and go beyond the norm . It is absolutely worth the watch .
