It's an adaptation of a VA (like Clannad), if you didn't know that, and having both seen the anime and played the va it did its job very well.
Little Busters! on its own is very episodic and doesn't have much of a story to it. It has a few character arcs but I wouldn't necessarily classify that as story. (If you want to get into the real soul-destroying story, the second season, called Little Busters! Refrain delivers that)
The soundtrack is nothing spectacular but it's a good quality. The voice acting is decent, definitely not untolerable. The art is a clean, standard modern anime.
As I mentioned, this is a character anime. There's not much in the way of story but the characters are so entirely fleshed out and all very enjoyable and that's where the real charm of this series comes in. You'll fall in love with each and every single child and, if you feel the same as me, you'll adopt them all as your children.
