Anime in my opinion is not something that should be judged based on pacing, mechanics, or other small aspects such as those. It is something that should tell a story, and connect the viewer with each and every character so that they feel and learn from not only the characters but the story as a whole. Hanasaku Iroha encompasses this feeling as though it is not the best show mechanics wise, we can still not only understand the story but can empathize and be shaped by the events and the characters within the story. Thank you, Hanasaku Iroha, for being the epitome of an outstanding show.
