Story 8: Guilty Crown has flaws, don't get me wrong, but as whole there was a storyline with some curves. Some things didn't make sense and some things seemed as though they were just thrown in there. The idea for this show is rather astonishing. The main character has the ability to wield anyone by pulling their ethereal soul from them in the form of whatever describes them. The idea for this show is perplexing and the setting is very dystopian. You'll get stuck into the stories besides the flaws I promise you this.
Art 9: The art is PHENOMENAL!!!!! The battle scenes have great visual effects and the environments are very common for an anime but the way the Shu uses his powers and the way he pulls peoples voids (souls) is AWESOME. you'll like stand it will be a treat every time he does so.
Sound 6: The actual sound was very run of the gun and lack luster. However, when the supporting character, Inori, sings you can't help but to enjoy it. She is what made the sound a 6 and not a 2 or a 3. You'll enjoy it when she does sing and it'll chain you emotionally to her.
Character 8: Ok many think Shu Ouma is a very plain and dry character. It may seem so but his personality very much evolves and you can see he is a very adaptive person in which you can see the very human side of characters. Shu very much shows us how sometimes you're just SOL and you have to face the music. You can't help to like him tho, he'll break your heart at times but we all have inner demons and he's a pure example of how any normal human would act under circumstances. Without the supporting character, Inori, Shu wouldn't be as sting of a character. Yet Inori is mysterious, perplexing, and just overall throws you off. Don't get me wrong its a good throw around and you'll love her as the series goes. The love story is very heart wrenching and you will be interested.
Enjoyment 9: Overall show started slow but came to a rumbling climax that will jerk your tears, make you bite your nails and raise the hairs on the back of your neck. Guilty Crown will grow on you and you can't help to love it.
Overall 7: You WILL enjoy this show. Just give it time and it will blow up in front of your eyes. If you're one for the details take a chill pill and take as whole not the minute details. If you're a free person like me you'll love it and never forget it!
