School Days is a hit and miss for some, some enjoy watching it, and some feel they were cheated out of the hours they wasted. Don't let this discourage you fellow viewers. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Story: The movement of the plot seems to move at a relatively moderate pace. The story is very well written from start to finish. Although sometimes it will feel that the story is progressing more slowly than it should. The story itself is a change of pace from the romance genre which is up to the viewers to enjoy or detest. Overall 8/10.

Art: Quality is your standard anime in SD and 480p. For those who prefer to watch it crystal clear in HD then i'm sorry. Scenery is portrayed beautifully. While background props are the typically shade. The use of colors is above average as well as the characters with some minor hiccups. Overall 7/10.

Sound: Opening theme I found ironic which I enjoyed. Ending themes change between a few episodes and are enjoyable. But there was a lack of sound effects which seemed to not be there. Voice actors matched the way the characters very well.

Characters: *I will only say my first impressions to avoid spoilers if any changes occur*
Itou, Makoto- Average teenager with only one thing on his mind.
Katsura, Kotonoha- Shy, and timid.
Saionji, Sekai- Outgoing with a bubbly personality.
Supporting cast plays a major role in School Days so pay attention to their every move, emotion also.

Enjoyment: Ah at last, the part i've been dying to address. Watching School Days shed some light on me that not every romance anime out there had to involve a couple happily in love. I enjoyed this very much. As you continue to watch, your emotions will change be it happy, sad, guilt, envy, or even down right disgusted. You won't regret watching School Days.

Overall 8/10.
