The good:
- Solid romance story, nothing unpredictable or heartbreaking. Just a "sweet little fairy tail".
- Soundtrack fit the theme really well and although it's not "my cup of tea", it was in tact with everything going on in the show, which helped a lot.
- There were some funny bits. Not enough to make me laugh or smile, but it kept me entertained and what's more important, kept me watching the show.
The bad:
- The animation quality as well as art design, although not too important in this kind of anime, have a lot of room for improvement. It didn't distract me from watching the show, but it was pretty noticeable. The style and aesthetic of the series was alright overall but it wouldn't call it "innovating", "good" or "well chosen" or anything like that.
Sort of tl; dr?
The show is mediocre. I wouldn't call it good or bad. It was OK and I'm not regretting spending my time on it, but I feel like there are plenty of shows that would play around the romance theme better in the same 12 episode time frame. However, if you are into Gods, foxes, uncomfortably big smiles and midgets, you might find this... amusing.
